Inspirationback to other projects
Having completed a project in Central London for a Property Developer, we were approached by one of their Clients, based in Richmond, London, to help specify and install a media room and design a home automation system that could be implemented over the rest of the house during phase 2 of the project.
During the initial Client meeting various media room designs and options were discussed before settling on a 75” Sony TV with a Dolby Atmos Surround Sound speaker configuration. As the equipment was being installed locally beneath the TV our engineers carefully set about planning how all of the components would fit inside of the bespoke joinery.
Along with the 75″ TV and Dolby Atmos Surround Sound System, it was decided that a Control4 system would be utilised to provide simple control over all of the devices from one, simple and easy to use remote. This was backed up with the use of the Client’s Android and Apple smart phones and tablets that could also control the connected devices. A dedicated on wall touch screen controller was installed for control of the media room and the multi room audio system that has been installed over the games room area and will also expand through the rest of the house during phase 2 of the works.
Security is also very important to the Client, and during the first phase of the works Circle Automation recommended upgrading of the existing door entry station and replacing it with a Control4 intercom at both the pedestrian and vehicle gates. To provide the Client with further peace of mind, additional security cameras will be installed at high level allowing anyone within the home to view the front driveway either through the dedicated touch screen or the Control4 app on any smart device.
