Myles O’Driscoll

Junior Electrical Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS: Level 1 Diploma in Electrical Installation

I started my career working as a carpenter whilst studying electrics at college.  When I finished my first year at college (and successfully passed), I decided I wanted to find a role with more electrical experience – so here I am at Circle Automation. The team very quickly taught me the world of AV and treated me like one of their own.

My experience in my previous role and college work have helped me carry out my role at Circle as I understand where things have to be put and how things work.  As my previous role had a fair share of woodwork I understand how to cut holes correctly and drill and fix things efficiently ensuring the electrical work that I do is to a high overall standard.

For me I find most things exciting in AV as it’s different to every other building trade, I learn something new everyday. My most exciting project so far has to be building one of our Lutron panels.

At weekends I like to spend time with friends and family. Although having a relaxing evening is nice, I prefer to spend my time doing something, like going to the cinema. I have 4 dogs; Daisy (Miniature Dutchond), Jessie (Schitz/Maltese), Jeremy (Beagle) and lastly Chester (Pugzoo). I regularly go to the Gym and also like to play sports such as football. I support Arsenal, who I have a season ticket for, so I always enjoy going to watch them, I also like catching up with my Dad and playing golf.
